The new Pink Barbie Camper Van – Glamour and Fun for Girls, just what parents love to see! We love this camper, and she will too!

Gone are the days of boring old-fashioned campers (did you have the 70’s version~~ you can see it below to refresh your memory), this one is different, it is fully equipped.

Let her enjoy a pull down TV, pop-out tent with a chandelier, full sound on the commode as well as outdoor crickets, cooking and music sounds.

The great thing about Barbie is it’s so long lasting, always a hit, and they use them for years. Your daughter will love the adventure she can enjoy with Camping Barbie, Ken, Stacie, and Kelly. But be warned, they are not included in the regular camper set. You can play with any Barbie doll, but if you want a set that includes Barbie, Kelly, Stacie, and Skipper dolls with the Pink Glamour Barbie RV together, they do make one.

The one thing I did not like about the set is NO KEN DOLL with the Pink RV Barbie Camper Set! He is a seperate purchase but you can use a cheaper male doll, she’ll enjoy it either way.

The Glamour camper is fun and actually does have loads of great features. Here’s the lowdown:

  • Real outdoors feel with a campfire to roast marshmallows

  • Real sounds from music, sizzling cooking, the flushing toilet and of course, chirping crickets.
  • 30 pieces of accessories included (food, table, chairs, firepit)
  • Flip down big screen TV

All in all, this is a really fun toy. Little girls love to not only role-play, but make a home and make it their own. The Barbie Glamour Camper allows them to really get creative as they take their family on an adventure. I was thrilled to see a Barbie Camper again, it has been way too long! I anticipate this will be a hit, and bring lots of memories back for moms, as well as some dads who played with Barbies too. They just may never be willing to admit it!

i have to admit i was a little shocked at the price tag on this one-however-when i compared it to other Barbie products, i think the value is there. Definitely a lot of unexpected “extras”-required 3 AAA batteries that operates a radio, stovetop sounds and even “flushing” of the toilet. This is not a “flimsy” product-my daughter picked this out for her 4th birthday and has enjoyed hours of fun with it. I guess the only negative is what seems to be some overpricing of all Barbie products.

Barbie Country Camper
Oh the 70’s…..If I remember right, there was tables and folding chairs and even pots and pans. One thing I do love is being able to share this with my daughter. Playing barbies like I did and watching her enjoy them, it’s a pleasure. Her Barbie RV may be quite a bit different than the old Barbie Camper I grew up with, but I guess in so many ways it’s all the same. Nothing wrong with a little glamour in the great outdoors, right?

 Well, barbie really has come a long way.

 She wouldn’t dream of going out in that thing any longer.

 And what has really changed, anyways! Well, the color went out, Pink is glamour now.

 And to sleep in that thing, well, it just won’t do. An Orange plastic pop-up tent made her happy then.

 But I must say, if you had this back then, you were popular! It was really fun. Even the boys liked it!

 So, even though I am so happy to give a Barbie Pink Glamour Camper to my little girl, she’ll never be   able to stop laughing at the thought of me playing with THAT Barbie Country Camper!
